Dalton Defenders Museum

Coffeyville took pride in an act that happened 110 years ago and turned it into their own defining character. During that time, a group of robbers were killed by the citizens of the town. Albeit the wrongdoing, they have been known as the pride of the town. In fact, the town preserved one of the hideouts of the Dalton Gang, the Dalton brothers who were also the robbers. On this hideout two of the brothers were killed together with their henchmen in 1892.  Now the Dalton Defenders Museum has been relished with the photos, hearse and wall-size photos of the corpses of the brothers. The gang was able to rob two banks before the citizens got them down. Now, tourists can visit this attraction and relive what happened by looking at the artifacts.
